As of Friday, Mach 17, the City of Mountain View still has several hundred Pacific Gas and Electric customers without power as a result of the recent winter storm. Many of those customers have been without power for several days.

The City of Mountain View has resources available to assist residents and visitors in this time of need. Those without power seeking a place to charge their electronics and access to Wi-Fi on Friday, March 17 can visit the following City facilities:

  • Mountain View Public Library (585 Franklin St.) – 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (All ages)
  • Mountain View Community Center (201 S. Rengstorff Ave.) – 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (All ages)
  • Mountain View Senior Center (266 Escuela Ave.) – 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Those 55 and older)

If you or someone you know needs additional assistance as a result of prolonged loss of power, contact the City’s Emergency Operations Center at 650-903-6103. Needs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and resources will be provided as they are available.
