Tuesday’s City Council Meeting Now Rescheduled to April 3

Joint meeting of the Council and Shoreline Regional Park Community rescheduled due to lack of a quorum

Post Date:03/28/2023 4:55 p.m.
4:55 p.m. Update: Tonight’s City Council meeting is now rescheduled to Monday, April 3 at 6 p.m. instead of Thursday, April 6 due to scheduling conflicts.

10:20 a.m. Update: The joint City Council and Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. tonight, March 28, must be postponed to a new date and time. The meeting is now rescheduled for Thursday, April 6 at 5 p.m.

This is due to the new Brown Act meeting rules that require a quorum of the governing body to be in person if there are also members attending the meeting remotely. At least four Councilmembers need to be in attendance in person for a quorum of the Mountain View City Council.

The March 28 meeting would not have a quorum due to three Councilmembers attending out-of-town conferences and planning to attend the meeting remotely. A fourth Councilmember is not able to attend in person due to illness.
