The City of Mountain View's development of an Economic Vitality Strategy is underway. This Strategy will be a guiding document that helps accomplish the City’s vision for a welcoming, vibrant city that plans intentionally and leads regionally to create livable, sustainable neighborhoods, access to nature and open spaces, and a strong innovation-driven local economy.

The City’s consultant recently completed several focus group interviews and a landscape assessment of Mountain View. The City will host two community meetings seeking input on the vision and high-level goals for the Economic Vitality Strategy.

• In-person meeting on Thursday, March 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Historic Adobe Building, 157 Moffett Blvd.
• Virtual meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 6-8 p.m.

Both meetings will start with a brief presentation on the insights gleaned from focus group interviews, followed by an open house format. The open house format will allow the community to engage with City staff and the consultant to provide feedback and input into the vision and goals of the Economic Vitality Strategy.

Spanish interpretation will be provided at both meetings.
