Positive West Nile virus mosquitoes found in portions of Mountain View and Palo Alto 

The County of Santa Clara Vector Control District has detected positive West Nile virus mosquitoes in a portion of the 94301, 94303, 94304, 94306, and 94040 ZIP codes within Mountain View and Palo Alto. 

Weather permitting, this area will be treated to reduce adult mosquito populations with the use of truck-mounted equipment on Thursday, Sept. 14, starting around 10 p.m. and concluding two to four hours later.
