Valley Transportation Authority announced rail rehabilitation work will result in service shutdowns on the orange line between Mountain View station and the Lockheed Martin station from Wednesday, April 24 to Sunday, April 28.

During this period, the following stations will be closed: Mountain View, Whisman, Middlefield, Bayshore NASA and Moffett Park. VTA said it will be replacing track ballasts, rail, wood ties, and signal components. 

According to VTA, a bus bridge will be operating transit service between these locations for the duration of the work. VTA encourages riders to allow extra time for travel.
