The community is invited to join the City of Mountain View Fire Department to commemorate our 150 years of service. A special celebration, including a parade, is taking place in Downtown Mountain View on Sunday, May 19, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Civic Center Plaza, located at 500 Castro Street.
The parade will be fun for the entire family and features a variety of modern apparatus, vintage public safety vehicles, a drum and pipe band, dalmatians, and many others. The procession will begin at 12:30 p.m. from the 1000 block of Villa Street and end at Civic Center Plaza.
Other activities include a Public Safety Recruitment Fair, Public Education Expo, Inflatable Fire House, Bucket Brigade, Sparky the Dalmatian and many other activities for children of all ages.
