Graham Middle School Teacher Arrested

Mountain View, Calif. — In April 2024, a 12-year-old female student at Graham Middle School reported inappropriate conduct from a teacher. The victim alleged the teacher, later identified as Ralph Turner, a 59-year-old Sunnyvale man, inappropriately touched the victim.

The Mountain View Whisman School District was informed of these incidents and placed Turner on administrative leave while the police investigation was underway.

Mountain View Police Department detectives interviewed the victim and additional students who may have been victims or witnesses. Based on the investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Turner for annoying and molesting a child under 14 as well as false imprisonment.

On Wednesday, June 5, at about 1 p.m., Turner was located and arrested without incident for the outstanding arrest warrant.

Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims and encourage anyone who may have been a victim of Turner, knows anyone who may have been a victim, or who may have additional information about the case to please contact Detective Guillermo de Lira at guillermo.delira@mountainview.gov right away.
