Mountain View, Calif.—The Mountain View City Council decided at its Thursday, Jan. 5 special meeting to fill the vacant Council seat created by the resignation of former Councilmember Sally J. Lieber by appointment. Lieber resigned from the City Council following her election to theCalifornia State Board of Equalization in the November 2022 general election. Her resignation was effective as of Dec. 30, 2022.
