Mountain View, Calif. On Monday, April 3, the City of Mountain View will launch ePermitsMV, a one-stop-shop for anyone seeking building permits by providing easier electronic submission and 24/7 access to permit status.

The main benefits of this new platform include:

  • Cleaner and clearer electronic mark-ups on building plans and collated comments.

To provide information about the new system, the City is hosting a live webinar on Monday, April 3 at 11 a.m. Anyone interested may register to participate here. The City will offer the same webinar at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7 with registration details to follow on the ePermitsMV webpage.

The City has prepared online tools to assist customers, including videos, guides and other resources. One-on-one appointments (virtually or in-person) are also being offered to assist customers with this new system.
