The Mountain View Police Department lobby is now open for police services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lobby will remain closed on weekends, except for services by appointment only. Community members are highly encouraged to make appointments online for certain services, however, walk-in traffic will be accommodated with restrictions. Any property or evidence pickup will remain by appointment only.

All police services will resume with the exception of LiveScan fingerprints for the public. LiveScan services will be for City of Mountain View applicants/vendors by appointment only, until further notice. To enter the building, the following is required:

• Use hand sanitizer
• Do not to enter the building if you display any symptoms of COVID-19
• Drop-offs for medications/ needles do not need an appointment
• Records/ Property Appointments
• File a Records Request
