Understanding Your Water Bill

Water rates for both residential and commercial customers are based on billing units (One billing unit = 748 gallons) and billing tiers. Please see information on your utility bill explained.

  • Reference the appropriate customer sections below for calculation details.
  • Each tier builds on the preceding tier, so your water bill is commensurate to your water use.
  • Water conservation is encouraged. Lower water usage will result in lower water bills.
