Bench and Shoreline LakeThe City of Mountain View celebrated the 40th anniversary of Shoreline at Mountain View regional park in 2023.

Shoreline – a 750-acre wildlife refuge and recreation area located on N. Shoreline Boulevard - opened to the public in 1983. The majority of its acreage is located over a closed landfill.

Shoreline is located in north Mountain View along the San Francisco Bay and offers gorgeous mountain views, exhilarating outdoor activities including golf, biking and sailing, and excellent habitat for a number of protected and other species including burrowing owls and monarch butterflies.

40th Anniversary Celebration – Sunday, October 15, 2023

Shoreline_2ColorLogo (1)The City hosted Celebrate Shoreline, a free event for the community to celebrate Shoreline’s 40th anniversary.

The family-friendly event took place 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023 at Shoreline at Mountain View regional park, 3070 N. Shoreline Blvd and took attendees through Shoreline's unique past, present and future.

- Live music - Food   - Carnival games
 - Antique vehicle displays  - Photo booth  - Community art project
- Community booths  - Self-guided tours
