The City of Mountain View Human Relations Commission (HRC) was established in 1994 to address the various economic, political, educational and social issues facing the community. The Commission consists of seven members.

The general functions of the Human Relations Commission include:

  • Acting as an advisory body to the City Council
  • Serving as a forum for public discussion
  • Acting as a liaison/facilitator between City government and the public on issues as they relate to respect, inclusivity and involvement

Meetings

The Human Relations Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month, except for the months of July and August, at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held virtually via the Zoom link listed on each meeting agenda posted on the Legistar page and in-person at the following location:
