The City Council adopted seven Strategic Priorities on June 22, 2021 following a six-month planning and visioning process. The Strategic Priorities are seven critical policy areas that work toward a vision of where the City strives to be in the next 3-to-5 years. In support of these Strategic Priorities and visions, the City Council biannually adopts a work plan that charts a thoughtful and achievable path forward to accomplish the community’s highest priorities.

The two-year Council Work Plan establishes the top projects to advance the Council's strategic vision and strategic priorities during Fiscal Years 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Strategic Priorities and Work Plan Implementation Progress

Every six months, the Council receives reports from the City Manager on the implementation of the Strategic Roadmap alongside the midyear budget update and the proposal of the budget for the new fiscal year. Council meeting materials from these updates will be linked here as they become available.
