The City of Mountain View Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) was formally established on June 23, 2009 to serve in an advisory role to the City Council regarding matters pertaining to broader senior issues and operation of the Mountain View Senior Center. The Committee consists of seven members.

The general functions of the Senior Advisory Committee include:

  • Support the Senior Center through the sharing of resources and new program ideas
  • Offer clinics, educational workshops, programs and training targeted to the senior community
  • Encourage ADA compliance and access to public transportation throughout the City

Meetings

The Senior Advisory Committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month on a 10 month calendar year (no meetings are held in August or December) at 2 p.m. at the Mountain View Senior Center (266 Escuela Avenue).
