The Housing Element identifies the City’s current housing conditions and future housing needs while outlining initiatives to improve available housing for populations with various income levels within the City. The current plan covers the 2023 to 2031 period and is updated every 8 years as mandated by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
