Mobilehome Park Regulations

State Law

The State of California's Department of Housing and Community Development regulates mobilehome parks via the Mobilehome Residency Law. The Law outlines a wide range of regulations for parks including:

  • Rental Agreements
  • Rules and Regulations
  • Fees and Charges
  • Utilities
  • Rent Control

The Mobilehome Residency Law is enforceable through court action.

City of Mountain View Regulations

The Council adopted a Mobilehome Park Conversion Ordinance and zoning codes to regulate mobilehome park closures and/or conversions.
