Mobilehome Park Regulations

State Law

The State of California's Department of Housing and Community Development regulates mobilehome parks via the Mobilehome Residency Law. The Law outlines a wide range of regulations for parks including:

  • Rental Agreements
  • Rules and Regulations
  • Fees and Charges
  • Utilities
  • Rent Control

The Mobilehome Residency Law is enforceable through court action.

City of Mountain View Regulations

The Council adopted a Mobilehome Park Conversion Ordinance and zoning codes to regulate mobilehome park closures and/or conversions.

Recently, a short, voluntary survey was mailed to all mobilehome park residents and owners in effort to gather information to help inform this discussion. The survey is available to complete online using the links below.
