Program Information

Neighborhood grants are awarded by the Council Neighborhoods Committee (CNC) each year. The Neighborhood Grant Program was established to maintain and improve neighborhoods by supporting activities that bring neighbors together and encourage participation. The grants provide financial support to encourage groups to form new neighborhood associations, as well as to support existing associations with funding for neighborhood events. Events and activities provide opportunities to know your neighbors and to promote a sense of community.

Neighborhood grants may be awarded up to the maximum outlined in the Table 1 below based on the number of households covered by the neighborhood group. Associations applying for a neighborhood grant for the first time are eligible for a $100 bonus. If awarded, all grant funds must be used and expended throughout a fiscal year between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025;  funds not used within this timeframe are not carried over.

Tier B: 501-1,000 Households $2,000
