The City of Mountain View has a commitment to providing our community a variety of youth sports and fitness activities. We encourage youth participation in a mixture of activities from sports and fitness classes to strong associations with local youth sports organizations. Youth involved in sports and fitness related activities earth the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, social skills, and mentors while in a fun and safe environment.

Concussion Protocol Information

Any participant enrolled in a City of Mountain View Program listed in CA Health and Safety Code 124235, the enrolled participant is subject to concussion protocol as outlined in CA Health and Safety Code 124235, which includes "Return to Play" procedures.

Below is information on California Assembly Bill AB2007, which introduces legislation regarding concussion protocol, CA Health and Safety Code Section 124235 and a Concussion Information Sheet. Use this information at your children’s or teens’ games and practices to learn how to spot a concussion and what to do if a concussion occurs.
