Dine-In with Reusables!

The City celebrates Vada Pav and 1 Oz Coffee in Mountain View for switching from single-use disposables to reusables. Read below to learn how local restaurants are taking big steps to stop waste before it starts!

The City of Mountain has partnered with ReThink Disposable to provide free technical assistance and funding for local restaurants to switch from single-use food service ware to reusable alternatives for bowls, plates, utensils and more. This program is part of the City’s Zero Waste Plan measures to reduce single-use foodware that goes to the landfill. ReThink Disposable’s team assesses the restaurant’s current use of disposable food service ware and purchases reusable alternatives for the business, free of charge. Participating restaurants benefit by reducing waste and saving money.
