Services
Mountain View is served by various transit operators including VTA bus and light rail services, Caltrain commuter rail, MVgo shuttles and the Mountain View Community Shuttle. Information and schedules can be found at the respective agency websites:

Mountain View Community Shuttle
The Mountain View Community Shuttle is free for everybody. Shop, visit the library, dine, go to a museum, movie theater, or a local park, see your doctor/dentist … get where you need to go for free!
Designed for your convenience, you can board a shuttle at one of 50 stops throughout town weekdays, 7 AM to 7 PM and weekends & holidays, 10 AM to 6 PM.
The Mountain View Community Shuttle is provided through a partnership between the City of Mountain View and Google.

MVgo Shuttle
MVgo shuttle services are free and open to the public. There are 4 routes operating during commute hours on weekdays, from as early as 6 AM to 10 AM in the morning and 3 PM to 7 PM in the evening. MVgo provides shuttle connections from the Mountain View Transit Center to North Bayshore, East Whisman, San Antonio and downtown Mountain View.
The MVgo shuttle services are provided by the Mountain View Transportation Management Association (MTMA), a nonprofit organization comprised of businesses, landowners, and the City of Mountain View, for the purpose of reducing traffic congestion on Mountain View streets.

Transit Projects

The City is also delivering a number of capital projects to improve transit in Mountain View, including the Shoreline Boulevard Transit Lane project.
